The “inverted method” can cause the coffee maker to be less stable and prone to mishaps that expose the user to potential burns from hot liquid. Be advised that we strongly discourage using the inverted method because it is less stable and therefore prone to tipping over and exposing the user to hot liquid.

"We love our Areopress Clear. We use it twice a day, every day. After a year of solid use, it's stained now and the numbers have mostly rubbed off, but that's expected. We thoroughly rinse it after every use, soak it often and put it in the dishwasher every couple of weeks. Bought the flow control cap - even better."

"I’ve been using the OG Aeropress for years, gave at least 2 away as gifts, and love telling people about it. I was very excited to find out you can get a clear one now, so you could see coffee being stirred. Different colours is a plus. But the curious thing that with this more expensive Aeropress you actually get less than with original one. There was a smallest stack of filters that maybe will last you a month. No holder for filters, no funnel either. The top lid and the stirring stick are black (like with the old Aeropress) and not matching the pink."
